Testing EUDI with your customers

📅

Why it matters

eIDAS 2.0 timeline: 28 national wallets rolling out across EU member states through 2026. From 2027, regulated sectors (banking, payments, telecoms) are obligated to accept them. The safe move is to be integration-ready before your customers' wallets go live.

What you can support

  • Identity proofing & KYC: verify name, date of birth, and nationality from a EUDI Wallet to onboard customers
  • Age verification: confirm a user is over an age threshold without collecting their full date of birth
  • Login & strong authentication: offer wallet-based sign-in and SCA on payment flows
  • Reusable & cross-border identity: accept credentials from any EU member state through one consistent flow
  • High-assurance verification: tap eIDAS Level of Assurance "High" credentials where regulation demands the strongest proof

Live & upcoming country sandboxes

As EUDI sandboxes and production wallets come online, Trinsic will integrate them so you can test with real country-issued credentials. Current status:

CountryStatusDetails
🇫🇷 France IdentitéLiveAge verification credentials are live in production using EUDI protocols. Full PID presentation is available in sandbox.
🇩🇪 GermanyComing soonIntegrated and in internal testing. We'll notify customers when this is available.
🇩🇰 Denmark (AltID)Coming Q3Integration is in progress, targeted for Q3 availability.

Want to demo with a specific country? If you're working with a customer in a market where a sandbox isn't yet available to you, the Trinsic Reference Wallet is your best path today. It supports the same EUDI protocols and gives your customers a real sense of the flow.

How to position this with your customers

When running a demo or pilot:

  1. Use the Reference Wallet to show the end-to-end EUDI verification flow. Your customer will see what it's like to present a wallet credential for real.

  2. Point to France if it's relevant to their market; age verification is available in production today. That's a real-world integration you can point to right now.

  3. Show the roadmap: Germany and Denmark are coming, and Trinsic adds sandboxes as they become available. You're not building on a promise; you're already integrated where it's live.
